The Dermatology Service

This facility is outfitted with the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options for identifying and managing the many conditions that cause skin disease in animals. We will work with your regular veterinarian to correctly identify the nature of the problem, get it under control, and try to manage it that way long term.

More owners seek veterinary attention for skin problems than for any other medical situation. In fact, by some estimates, 40% of all medical problems seen by veterinarians are dermatology-related.

Because so many skin problems look alike, it can be challenging to arrive at a correct diagnosis and institute the proper therapy.  Our dermatology referral service provides you and your veterinarian with the assistance needed to diagnose and manage these challenging and difficult skin problems. Now, more than at any time in the past, tests and treatments are available to address many of the dermatologic conditions seen in our pets.
